What I understood from this story is that the dad wants the boy to go to death or die so he can see what happens next after death.

My routines for organizing my school stuff is to first have a clean backpack and start putting in my notebooks for each class. I always do this when I get home from school because everyday I use a different notebook and misplace it in my backpack. I always keep my stuff form school from the first class to my last. I try to take as long as it takes to clean my bag because if I rush then everything is going to get messy. Also, I keep a binder so it can help me separate my papers from different classes. That way, it helps me know more and keep myself organized.

When I memorized the poem “Richard Cory” I started to think about it differently.  I thought about why he might have killed himself, and I  thought about how the poem relates to my life today.  It seems like if people want to kill them self’s because they think that they have everything and all they want is more and more attention.

I think that my opinion is based on learning my rights and discovering what I could do and learn from my mistakes.  Also, I think that I have the right to think about my opinions and make sure to know what I’m trying to say and understand.  Many of us think that we have the rights to boss everybody and tell them what to do.  I think that keeping your thoughts about others shouldn’t be said out loud because then that’s where all the problems start.  Always think if you are doing the correct thing.

I learned that The Socratic Method helps pursuing truths about human beings and their assumptions about reality.  Also, it illustrates how the Socratic Method was used in high school.  The student thinks that he is very smart and doesn’t want to become a loser.
