Today I Learned From An Author

I was really impressed in my authors story because she was really specific on her story and it was very interesting.  It made me understand that I have to keep the authors or readers attention so they could keep reading the story.

My Readers Speak

The person that read my story gave me a good feedback because she said that she really liked my story.  It made me feel good and happy because it gives me more energy to keep writing more.  Also, She told me that she wants me to continue my story because of how interesting it is.

Story

A tragic love story of a young man named Anthony and a young woman named Stacy.  It all started when Anthony got invited to a dance party.  At the party a young woman named Stacy was hanging out with her friends.  Anthony saw Stacy and he was heading towards her because he thought that she was the most beautiful girl in the world.  He sat down next to her and started talking to her.  Stacy felt the same as how he did also.  She thought that he was the best person for her.  Stacy later on that night left home and couldn't wait to tell her parents what had happened to her.  When she got there she told her parents everything but, her parents didn't agree with that love that she had for him.  They told her that she can't be with him because he was going to ruin her life.  Stacy just then left running to her room crying because of what her parents told her.  It was the next day when Anthony and Stacy met up and he told her if she wanted to be with him.  She said yes, but in

HERE'S WHAT I LEARNED TODAY

What I learned today is how to analyze a literature.  The most hard part about the writing was that some of the questions were confusing but I tried my best to answer them.  Also, I learned how to be able to write my own big questions when I want to make a comment.

Literature Analysis

Book: Summer of Secrets Author: Paul Langan Plot : The plot in this story is when Darcy wonders why her parents get into an argument and then the sister Jamee, starts having boyfriends and hangs out with them all the time. Theme : Darcy is doing her best to not fall into depression because she broke up with boyfriend, her sister hangs out with guys that could harm her, and her parents are getting divorced.  Authors morning routines : The author gets up early so he can think about how his morning and day is going to be.  He probably does Yoga in order to get relaxed and forget about what is happening outside the world.  Also, I imagine the author writing more books so he can keep impressing and entertaining his readers. Literacy Techniques : Figurative language: helps me understand the reading because in the story there are many arguments involved. Characterizations: helps me because I could imagine what each character is doing. Personification: Helps me understand how the

Big Questions

My big question is that why do people sneeze when looking at the bight light?  Do people sneeze because it itches your nose, or because the light is too bright?  I wish I could invent a machine that tells you why the sun makes you sneeze when looking at it.

I am GSD

My experience as an independent learner is that it is sometimes hard to work by yourself but, I think that you learn better because you get more practice. Also, as an independent person you have to be a responsible person and catch up on things you missed out on.  You have to work as hard as you can to succeed in life as an independent person.

The Making Of An Essay

My experience on writing the essay was kind of hard because it was a little bit confusing. I was rereading my essay to make sure that I was writing the correct information. I still think that it was confusing but I tried my best. One thing I should improve on is to ask questions if I don’t understand something that is being asked.

Writing About Life and Death

Katha Upanishad is about overcoming death by understanding it. Death is here to teach us lessons and to let us know that we cannot take our lives for granted. Our purpose is to understand our existence and see how we use the opportunities for our freedom. We also learned that you cannot fight against death. You can only make peace with it, knowledge and purity. The abstract themes of religion and death about the Katha Upanishad is that you get limited opportunities in life and you have to make use of them. Yama was offered three boons, and he made good use of them. His father wronged him to live in peace with a tranquil mind. Death has lessons to teach and for a pure and resolute soul. Lord Yama taught many lessons to Nachiketa. Naciketas achieved for the mortal beings supreme knowledge by which one could attain liberation. We all can learn good lessons from death, by having a conversation with it, by observing it, by understanding it, by thinking abo
