A character I would choose is Fantine.  I chose Fantine because she got me the attention of leaving her daughter to a strange couple.  What affected my mood when I read this part of the book was when Fantine had the courage to leave her child with strangers because where she works there are no children allowed.  For example, if you have a child and where you work they don't let you have kids, how would it feel like to leave your child with someone you don't even know. You wouldn't know how they are going to treat him/her or even if they are going to feed them.

1) What I thought was important was that in the book they started talking about father Madeleine.  He was a very rich man. 2) Something that I didn't understand is that when I got to the part where Fantine goes to M. sr. M she isn't mentioned anymore.  I think that now they are going to describe who and how Father Madeleine is.  VOCABULARY:   gendarmerie: a force of gendarmes. 

If I could give Fantine some advice, the main advice I would give her is that leaving her child to some strangers isn't a good idea because the strangers are only going to take care of her daughter because of money. But little does she know how they are going to treat her.  I felt surprised when she left Cosette with that couple because I have a feeling that they aren't going to treat her right.

I think that Fantine didn’t make a good decision in sleeping with Tholomyes but I do think that Fantine should keep the child.  I think that Jean Valjean did an wrong thing on stealing the little boys coin because the bishop trusted hi and Jean Valjean didn’t show himself as how th bishop thinks about him.  We are responsible for our decisions because we are the ones that know what we are going to do and if we make the right choice. Some times peer pressure also makes you do bad choices because you don't get to decide what you want to do and others tell you what to do and you have to do it.  Parent expectation is a big part of decision in our lives because we have to obey them even though sometimes they exaggerate on what they say and want you to get perfect scores and to just focus at school.

I work in a literature circle with 3 other people.  On Monday we are going to go over and review what we have read so we can be able to understand what is happening on during the book.  We are also going to ask any question that we have or if we don't understand some vocabulary words.

I think that people should care more about how they treat themselves and others.  I think that people should care and treat themselves and others in a nice way because many times, this problem could cause things that should have never happened.  I think that people should be more mindful and think before they take action on what they are doing or going to do.

What makes Graceland world literature is that Paul Simon would travel to different countries to do some collaborations of his music with other musicians.  He would also work more with African musicians and trade information with each other.  What makes Graceland American literature was that his lyrics was more different than in other countries.

In my opinion, the teachers are right in going to protest because the public knows that it is unacceptable not to have full-time nurses. To have class sizes of 47.  it is unacceptable to have teachers come in and then leave because the conditions are too hard and the pay isn't enough.  They want to lower class size and to have more staffing and teacher salaries.
